The Pagosa Rotary Club needed a new look and more functionality. The original site was basic html pages, making it difficult to update on a regular basis as they needed. In addition, since the information comes from such a large group, they needed to have the ability for anyone involved - even the non-technical people. The Visions Content Management System was the perfect solution.

Additional functionality was added to the system to allow for “Community” growth. Here are a few of the additional features:

1. The member directory (will have a printable version)
2. Pages that are viewable by members only
3. Your Updatable Profile (please feel free to add your pics, b’days, anniversaries, etc)
4. Project List. This is an area where someone can leave you quick notes about whatever they want. My thought is that it could be used to help aid coordination on projects, etc …
5. Project Forums. This provides the best project coordination on the web. Here project leaders can request a forum set up and then upload whatever information they need to for the project. Files can be uploaded (press releases, flyers, sign-up sheets, etc), members can discuss the projects, etc ….
6. Your Info: This is a direct link to profile.
7. Submit News. Registered members can submit news from the front end… and it will be posted in the appropriate place.
8. Connections. This allows private messages between users.
9. Calendar of Events that registered users can add events to.
10. much more ……

This is a huge improvement over the functionality of the original page.
